Process

your task. There will be detailed instructions on what you need to know and how you can
use them.
1. Firstly, go through the document “Your Guide to IP in Europe”, to understand the
different aspects of IP. Also, watch the video “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better
Future”, to get a grasp of how the youth understands IP.”
2. Then, study the different types of intellectual property rights, by reading the “The Types
of intellectual property rights”, in order to know which category your creation falls into.
3. Dive into the details of protecting a specific type of creation, after choosing from the
types.
4. Watch the video “European IP Helpdesk – IP on Social Media” and read the case study
the European IP Helpdesk case study: IP sounds good to me.
5. Finally, study the infringement of IP rights and find out which of the procedures can or
cannot apply to your case.
